Eu fazia parte do J\u00fari Jovem, acompanhando a Competitiva Nacional daquele ano. Na \u00e9poca j\u00e1 tinha realizado dois curtas-metragens e estava em busca de hist\u00f3rias para novos roteiros. Na sa\u00edda de uma das sess\u00f5es me veio uma hist\u00f3ria sobre uma menina de 7 anos que, sem no\u00e7\u00e3o de morte, tem que lidar com a perda da av\u00f3. Imediatamente, no caf\u00e9 do Cine Glauber Rocha, contei a ideia pra minha namorada, Hilda, que logo se empolgou com a premissa. Brinquei que poder\u00edamos fazer uma filha pra atuar no filme.<\/p>\n<p>Bom, coincid\u00eancia ou n\u00e3o, dois meses depois Hilda ficou gr\u00e1vida de uma menina, Pen\u00e9lope. As dificuldades de financiamento e o atraso da pandemia calharam para que as filmagens do curta ocorressem justamente no m\u00eas de anivers\u00e1rio de 7 anos dela &#8211; permitindo que participasse do filme.<\/p>\n<p>E, nesse ano de 2025, quase 11 anos depois da ideia, Vov\u00f3 foi pro C\u00e9u estreia no Panorama, no mesmo cinema onde a ideia foi concebida e essa hist\u00f3ria come\u00e7ou.
